Кормление мальков личинками хирономид (мотылём). Рыбоводный цех "Нукус Балык", Нукус, Каракалпакстан, Узбекистан, 09.08.2026. Температура воды +29 oC. 5 августа 2026 года первые два малька амударьинского лопатоноса от двух разных самок были переведены из акваруимов в два отдельных бассейна. Пересадка проходила в тестовом режиме и была удачной. 09 августа 2026 года оставшихся мальков успешно пересадили в бассейны. По ходу пересадки мальков от обеих самок пересчитали: 10 + 43 особи. Потомство амударьинских лопатоносов подлежит государственной регистрации в соответствии с законодательством Республики Узбекистан. On 05.08.2026 the first two juveniles of Amu Darya shovelnose sturgeon from two different females were moved from aquariums to two separate pools as a test (successful test). While being moved the juvenile shovelnoses from both females were counted: 10 + 43 specimens. The next day (on 09.08.2026) they were being fed with bloodworms (chironomids larvae) as usual. In 2020 Nukus Balyk fish hatchery was registerged as the Amu Darya shovelnose sturgeons hatchery by the Republic of Uzbekistan State Committee for Ecology and Environment Protection (registration certificate # 000010, date: 11.05.2020). Creating an initial brood stock of Amu Darya shovelnose sturgeons (Pseudoscaphirhynchus) is the first step towards their propagation and conservation efforts.
